Polo GTI Gearbox Query

This has happened twice now and was wondering if my gearbox is on its way out or what. Basically had a play with a Mk4 Golf GTI Anni and yes I won , anyhow as I legged in first and put in second I felt a Jolt . I know the second on the gti is weak and crunches but it was a just a jolt as if heading it with a hammer ?!?!?! The car is not mapped and I have a uprated Dogbone gearbox mount so not sure whats going on??

Is this normal or something I am doing wrong. It might be that I left the clutch too early

Is your car a 06/56 plate? Think there's a gearbox recall on them... the dealers can check it with the VIN of the vehicle.

Date of first registration is 06/2007 according to the log book. Also in the service manual their is a entry made for 35A7 recall(Gearbox Oil) which I think was only a gearbox oil change.

thats all the recall was on mate if your gearbox throws now im afraid unless your in warranty your gonna have to pay out, start looking for a 6 speeder now then ay
