Post by symoan »

Anyone know of where i could pick up a pair?
Am moving to Germany and need a set to comply with German law, and before anyone says it im not allowed to use those little stickers
that change the direction of the beam.

Don't know but there are loads of German and European car parts sites on line, so I would try one if these from. Google search.

If you mean you are moving to Germany and importing your Polo, then you will have to submit your vehicle for inspection and get it approved - KPH speedo etc. But won't you be stuck with a RHD model - no fun at the car park ticket barrier!

If you are just driving over, I wouldn't even bother with stickers. I've been driving over to the UK from Switzerland with Swiss cars for the last 25 years and never did anything for the UK - including my Polo last summer...

Very good point. I had a mate who moved to Germany and quickly decided to sell his and buy a left hooker. All depends on your usage and how long you are staying.

An RHD car is basically unsellable on the continent, except to returning English - who will already know this and expect a knock-down price.

The LHD Polos are built in Spain and the spec. varies a fair bit for the UK versions too...
