After breaking down on the way to UD11 and a new AA membership im finally back on the road with a new gearbox. The GTI splitter is waiting to be put on along with a new headlight. BMC from alexperkins is great. So thanks to him. Still waiting for this cupra interior but maybe get it on sunday. Stretched tyres next or momo 280.

Nice Update mate :)

Glad to hear your purchased the BMC CDA from Alex too, your going to love it!
GTI splitter is a good choice too, makes a big difference to the front end.

What was up with your gearbox then? I had mine changed last month so I know exactly how you feel :(

Since its been installed the tick over keeps going up and down and sometimes there is a 2 second lag when pulling away. Servo vacuum? Any ideas? Thank you

BMC fitted and now works perfectly. Splitter on and a respray of the lower grills in satin black. Just ordered some 15mm spacers as well. Pictures up soon.

Dubday for me today. I was planning on fitted the 15mm spacers but after looking at the clearance it wasnt worth it. So they are going up for sale. Need some stretched tyres so bad so I can go lower. Ive sprayed the under grills in satin black and they look like new now. Also Ive sprayed the hand grabs and tweeter speakers. Not perfect but its not a show car, daily driven.

Looks good mate :)

Two suggestions though...

Shorten the throttle body side of the silicon bend, and get a cold air feed fitted to the BMC - youll get huge heatsoak with no feed, plus the noise isnt as good

Thanks for the advice Alex. I did order the cold air pipe you suggested but couldnt find a great place to feed it to. Ill have another go. Im waiting to see if i can get a full refund on the spacers as Ive only opened the box. If not they will go up for sale for £60 including p&p and eight extra long bolts.

You can put it down to the right, past the radiator hoses and between the back of the headlight and the battery. Thats where it sits on Gregs and it gives a great sound and cold air supply

Nice car buddy, how are you finding the jom coilovers? Thinking at getting a set as theyre only £200 but don't know how harsh they'll be

I cant compare them to any others as i havnt been in another car with coilovers on. But from what i can tell they are good. I got mine from vemon motorsport and came within a few days. Worth while investment and will bring a smile everytime you see your car. I love parking up to other 6n2 and comparing height lol.
