Hey there everyone. I'm new to this forum and I hope to stay a while. I've used a few other polo or vw forums but they can't seem to answer my questions. Then someone suggested uk-polos.net. So here goes.
I've got the 1,4ltr 16v 6n2. 75hp model. Only had it for a month and a half. Now coming from a car that is quite a bit quicker, the 75hp don't do too much to me. I was wondering whether somebody knows what differences there are between this and the 100hp model. They use the same engine and from what i know they are both twin cam models. So I'm guessing there is a difference in the cams and the ECU, but can anybody be more specific as to the differences between the two models? The engine i use now only has 15k km's on the clock so i don't want to throw it away and put in a 1,6...yet, and i'm not a fan of turbos. So my best best i think would be to tune this one. In fact the same engine on the new fabias and ibiza produce 116 and 110hp respectively. So it can be done. Question is....what exactly do i have to do?
