Rear Cards

Post by live2themaxuk »

RIght, undo the little screw down the bottom. Then take the rear seat upper clip hindge thing off with an allen key.

then about a 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the door card, up from the screw, put you fingers behind the card near where it curves (andyes it flexes) and YANK. You may be able to see the clip if you look hard, in which case try and apply pressure with your fingers inside next to he clip when you yank, or put a LONG screwdriver on the clip and lever it off but a sharp yank should do it.

Its then held along the window edge with some clips 'pinching' a long strip on the card so just push the whole card UP towards the roof and wiggle maybe.

BTW putting it back on these clips is abit fiddly but you CAN do it just takes a few tries.

Sorry to sound stupid but what is a door card and why would you want to remove or change them?

door cards

a door car is the trim that is on the side of the car, on the doors and on the rear doors or rear side walls inside the car. you may wish to remove them to upgrade speakers or mend or fix something.
