Clutch Cable, Arrrrgggghhhhhh!!!

Yesterday, my third clutch cable snapped !!! Every year i replace one. Why is this happening? Can anyone know how to fix this annoying problem? BTW my gear box is working fine, no strange sound from it. I am easily changing gears. Even reverse is working fine. Is there a way to convert clutch with cable in hydraulic clutch? It is the problem with clutch pressure plate or clutch plate?
I had never experienced any other major problem with my 1.4 MPI Polo, except this one.

Who is installing the cable and is it a genuine or pattern part?

Is the cable routing correct and are you tightening it too much?

mine snapped on me once, the RAC dude told me to replace it with a genuine one as the cheaper ones break all the time. havent had a problem since

Thanks guys, i already bought a genuine one. Did some small gear box service, and just in case i bought some custom made cluch cable, not some aftermarket rubbish.
I think this will be the end of my clutch problem
