Bird Crap

Post by jrw »

The bonnet of my car has a bird s**t mark on it (from when it was at the dealers but didn't notice til I got home) and I have t-cut and polished it out and it has totally disappered only for it to come back a few days later.

The roof has been resprayed due to this problem but that had ate much more into the paint and bubbled underneath.

The one on the bonnet is like a dull stain.

If no-one can help im gonna give the dealer hell (again!) and they can respray the bonnet (and get rid of all those stone chips)

Thanks

I can't suggest anything with this. It happens to mine quite often, as its sat under the eaves of my grandparents house (where a nest of house martins happen to be). With a wash and T-cut the stains seem to disappear, but you have already tried that.

Probably doesn't help that it's a dark coloured car either!! Same things happen to my gf's Lupo, but the poop tends to stay longer on her car (because she can't be bothered to wash it very often) and when you do wash it, well you get remaining marks.

Thats the thing, I didnt notice til I got home so they'll just deny it. It was bad enough last time trying to get the roof done under warranty. they had to say it was brake fluid from when it was delivered.
