Camber help

Post by bfc1882 »

Hi guys wondering if anyone can help? I am running ap coilovers and standard rims and my tyres are shot after 5k on the inner edge. Is there anyway to adjust the camber or is tyre wear just one of the downsides of lowering your car. It is as low as it will go on the back and the front is level although could go a lot lower. I had the tracking done when I lowered it but 5k out of a set of fronts is garbage. Any help appreciated

Bushes on front worn maybe. Or if you had the tracking do e before the coilovers were put on you may find it needs doing again.

I have lowered my 9n round 100mm on ap and I get more miles than that to a set of tyres

Cheers mate I will get those bushes looked at. Tyres used to wear fine before lowering it though so might get them to check tracking again although it has been done since lowering. Would raising the suspension a little bit help reduce camber much?

You HAVE to get your wheels aligned after you've lowered the car, the tracking and camber will inevitably be out.

I did have it aligned after lowering but it seems that my bushes were shot. Got some cupra one fitted so hoping problem solved. Cheers for the responses
