too ambitious?

Post by Gtimatt »

possibly getting a milltek catback next month. how difficult is it to fit? im not sure what a garage will cost yet. but wonder if its worth me giving it a shot first

main problem i think will be getting decent access under the car :/

without decent access you struggle mate, its the bit around the rear beam and fuel tank that takes the pish!

get it on the ramps its much easier!

Got a pit in the Midlands you're welcome to use if you get no better offers.

i have done it a few times on my polo, takes me + friend about 1 hour to take the stock exhaust off and put the milltek underneath.
it's quit easy, but be carefull with the bolts that hold the downpipe attached to the turbo, they are not that strong and dare to rust a bit.
so it is possible that you break one...
