i was wondering if anyone knows where to get black number plates with the silver lettering. ive been looking for ages but cant seem to find anywhere that does them.

I think most Halfords do black and silver plates......BUT............Wouldn't they be illegal on your car???? Doesn't the vehicle have to have been registered before something like 1973-ish??? I'm pretty sure thats the case.

As waveydavey said Halfords do do them. I can't help on the legal side though.

yes they are illegal after a certain age.. a mate had them on his car for a grand total of 3 days before he got a tug for them...

And to be honest, thats a lot of hastle for plates that look crap.

im not 100% sure but i dont think they will sell you them if your car isnt supposed to have them :D

or you could move to guernsey like me and have some numeric number plates with black and silver legally :D
