Replacing wingmirror cover....how?

Post by londonvw »

Hi - my wife has cracked the left side mirror housing. I got a new painted cover and thought it would just be easy to unclip and put the new one on.....
however, there are a bunch or tabs and holes in the replacement that make me think its not that easy.

so - anyone done it and if so please tell me how, thanks!

Was very helpful for me as I needed to take them off to carbon wrap my covers!
