smoked front indicators

Post by polopowah »

i recently purchased some MHW smoked front indicators for my mk5 and when they finally arrived  i was very pleased, but upon opening we found that there was an extra bulb in the unit with wires and everything, which was strange, as its only an indicator lense
so what i did was wire that bulb up to my sidelights, so now i have extra lights in the indicators aswell as my sidelights, i must say it looks darn cool, im assuming its legal
the indicator can still be clearly seen even with the light on.

here as some pics

not so sure about them....i prefer the standard crystal ones myself :? imo they would be better on a black car.

i think the extra lights are called cruise lights, also found on some crystal indicators for the golfs etc!
