Bleeding the Brakes

Post by sgard »

been bleeding the brakes this morning, came to do the last corner o/s/f only to find the bleed nipple has been rounded off and seized solid into the caliper, any ideas how i can get it out and where i can get a replacement nipple. gsf and euro car parts don't sell just the nipple, would have to buy the whole caliper.

Also is it ok to bleed the rears with the handbrake on or does it affect it in someway.

thanks, stephen

Go to the scrappy and have a look around there, and yea im pretty sure you can bleed them with the handbrake on cause the handbrake is mechanical and the hydraulic system is separate
