VW POLO N reg revs sticking

I have a VW Polo N reg 1400cc. My revs are sticking on 1500 and taking time to go back to 1000, i have checked my throtal body and cleaned it out and checked all the breather pipes, but can not seem to resolve the problem. Has anyone got any advice?[/b]

Could be a faulty temperature sensor

Can you get it diagnosed with VAGCOM at all

hi mate,thanks for the reply,yes got it check out by VAGCOM it came up with earth lead and nock sensor got that cleared,still same problem going to get new temperature sensor,thanks gona try that.
