Well it was either Candy or Rising Blue, but in the end Candy won and I'm gald it did :D

Already did most of the mods when it was 3 hours old including:

LED driving lights (and extinguishing of the head lights)
Centre console sliding cup holder (near the handbrake)
Rear air vents and cup holder for rear seat passengers including ducting
Covered front trinket tray.
Aluminium pedals (dealer fit)
Chrome sill plates
Mudflaps front and rear
Needle sweep on dash on startup
Black stereo surround from Scirocco R
3 stage Werkstat acrylic prep and sealant.
G8 wheel sealant.
Retrofit door open warning lights to both lower door edges.

To come.

35mm lowering springs
Map (maybe when run in, not sure yet).

I tell you honestly, these new VW common rail dervs are superb. Exceptionally quiet, smooth, loves to rev and bucket loads of torque.

Oh yes, and 50+ mpg rather than 25-30 :D :D

I know they are better now but petrols are also better on fuel so I really don't get diesels, especially now that engines like the 1.4 TSI are around. I have had one turbo diesel engined (BMW 2.5 litre 6) car and never ever again; smelly, noisy, sound like a bus and no revs the best way to ruin a sporty car; petrol all the way :D
