how did you guys manage to get the wrap on the center consoles so nicely around the vents! i've tried and made a right fluff of it! ordered more to redo it :(

loving the suede tim, very nice! much better than the stock crap they put in...

i've managed to gloss wrap the b pillars but eventually im probably going to paint them too once my uncle shows me the ropes for painting (he's a body mech)

you got coilies on this? how much is it lowered?

Tim, looks unreal :) I LOVE it... my favourite 9n3 by far and no doubt will be a huge inspiration to my next car (much like your last was to my current)

Will - I know what you mean, it's silly What some cars can get in comparison to others. I thought the 1.9 would be a lot better though, especially what you can get from a vRS! (my mate gets around 50mpg with a remap).

Yeh they're GTi skirts, in standard plastic.

Get a hairdryer out mate, works wonders. Be patient, took me about two hours to get it perfect.

Yeh it's on FK Konigsports, not sure how low, at a guess around 50mm? Just right for a daily IMO! Ill measure it up to my mates standard 9n3 soon and let you know.

Thanks mate :D

Doesn't touch the paintwork of my old motor (the front end on this one definitely needs respraying at some point) but for a good looking Eco-friendly daily it ticks all the boxes!!

Don't get me wrong, the 1.9 is a banging little car Tim and has damn good acceleration for the engine it has and everyone in my family who drives 2.0tdis, 3.2 petrols, 5.2 v10 audis, etc, all say the car is a nippy little thing, just needs to be better on the fuel!

I better watch out when I start tweaking mine then! :P

You guys running any other engine mods other than the map?

I'll be looking at full exhaust, PD160 intake and perhaps a better fir tiler system (If I can find one that proves to be better) on top of a remap when I do it.

also how much power you thinking of trying to squeeze out of the 1.4 because I wanna see what a 1.4 can really do!

If I could get a stable 130BHP I'd be more than happy.

More horses than my GTi and literally twice the torque! Perfectly achievable with a bigger turbo, especially as a remap will fetch half that on it's own. 8)

This is just forum talk though, we'll see how my bank account looks after summer.
