They are the number one option box to tick, they are fantastic. Also they are well priced for the Polo GTI.

I agree that they might be good lights but they are not good value; £745 for headlights  its Day light (running) robbery

More light related questions I've noticed when put my headlights on one click all this does is dim the drl I guess theirs no side light function

When I put my headlights on I've noticed an extra bulb in the headlight come on when the wheel is sharply turned but I'm a bit unsure if it right Because it doesn't seem to help light anything up

Isn't this the static cornering function? Is it not the fog light coming on? Upload a pic so we can see what is happening?

A lot of cars do this that have DRLs but no dedicated side lights. I remember reading somewhere that there's a law that says DRLs and sidelights can't be the same intensity or something so manufacturers dim them instead to comply with the regulations.

That is your static cornering light, aimed to light up anything to the side of you when you sharply turn your steering wheel with the indicator on, while travelling at a low speed. Basically, it's purpose is to light up the area you are turning into so you can see a pedestrian, cyclist etc when turning into dark side streets etc. If you have the xenons, it is the small light mounted inboard of the projector lense, notice it has a side facing reflector behind it....

And yes, it is normal.

Would be ibnteresting if these could be changed to come on using the steering angle sensor alone and disregarding the indicator signal, then anytime you steered into a corner they would come on...
