You guys running any other engine mods other than the map?

I'll be looking at full exhaust, PD160 intake and perhaps a better fir tiler system (If I can find one that proves to be better) on top of a remap when I do it.
stage 1 remap from p-torque mate was 108 on the rollers mapped to 148 bhp 240 lbft torque the car does go now but mpg the car has a mind of its own one day ill be doing 55 mpg motorway the other 44 lol

I was on about the ones above the make up mirror. Which ones do you still want to replace?

The ones above make-up mirror I simply just pulled out :P

I mean the "center" front one, the one with "reading" lights, and the one that comes on when you unlock the car.

You can just pull them out:

Then just unscrew two 501s, then pop the lens out for the festoon. DONT take apart the light!

Cheers mate!

Next moves are lamin-x for the rear lights, get the interior handles back in, and have a crack at the fan control trim with the carbon fibre tape. I also need to order a plug so I can de wiper the rear!

I knew I recognised your car!

I was about to post a thread in the spotted section, as I saw yours parked on the road also. You'd gone by the time I'd gotten up though so didn't have a chance to check it out up close :( Looked great from a far window though!

Thanks for the kind words man! Yeh it's the LCR splitter.

Small world then! Dan was showing me pictures of your Dad's mark1 golf? Looked awesome.

Small update:

I have a VW tax disc holder from my old car that I threw aside because the black faded to a weird gold:

Gave it some new life and it was good to go!

Tried to cover the fan trim also, and it wasn't happening. It's fiddly, and after over an hour I could't get it perfect so gave up! Ah well.

Lamin-x rear lights and de rear wiper coming soon....

Tim, is it easy to de-wiper the back, looked at it before and thought you need some special tool to get it off?

Plus, was thinking we should get some photos of our cars some time, could be quite neat if your up for it?
