I have thought about removing the rub strips on the side of the car but I wouldnt touch the back end. I think the GTI looks better with the "Polo" and "GTI" badges so I have never been keen on getting a fully smoothed tailgate.

Love the wheels, the extra inch in size makes so much difference.

You need the plate in the OEM position!

Yeah the 16" RXII's do make a hell of a difference to the look of the car, whereas certain wheels look better in 15".
I will get the plate sorted eventually, although I do like it where it is now its just sitting too close to the grill at the moment

There's a set of 16 rx's on eBay atm. May get them for winters there only 100 notes....

If you can get them cheap enough then go for it, be a nice looking winter wheel and they dont have the usual outer lips issues like the RXII's because their not splits. Always nice to have a few sets haha
