Basically, I am buying an aftermarket second hand Eonon 1012. The seller has told me that the double din radio does not come with a fitting cage. Im told that not all cars need a fitting cage. Does anyone have this radio at all in their polo? Will I need to purchase a fitting cage in order for this radio to fit properly? Does the RCD200 already come with a fitting cage?

The RCD200 doesn't have a fitting cage, it fits directly into the centre console.
I haven't got the unit that you mention, but I have a Pioneer aftermarket unit in my car. It needed a cage to be fitted, so I'd assume your radio will need one as well. You can get generic cages that might work?
