My 6n Polo 1.3 8v
Alright, im re-posting this cose i messed up the 1st with the pictures but here we go. I've had it almost a year now Its a 1.3cl 8v on a N reg bought it on 74,000mi, absolutely mint in and out except for a small paint peel on the door which is getting resprayed within a month, but heres a progress thread. Enjoy
Same Day i got it
40mm Lowering springs all round, clear indi and side repeaters, 6n2 rears
BBS RX2's red taken off resprayed, polished and laquered
It now as it stands, also HID kit De-badged grill
Next will be the wheel spacers & coilovers to completely slam it , maybe touch up the ICE a bit more and whatever else
Comments?

Nasty chunk out of your tyre there :S looking good though, comes up well after a polish, i wish my paint was as good lol. i got the same coils on my polo, supprisingly comfy, allthough the rebound is a bit mad, not crashy and harsh like other budgets ive had.
Re: My 6n Polo 1.3 8v
Ah that tyre got thrown away ages ago ha! Yeah that's the second time I've polished it since I got it. Yeah I know what you mean it's comfy but the wrong bump will send you bouncing all around the place
Re: My 6n Polo 1.3 8v
A little update
16v Big Bumper Swap =D
Old one off and if you look carefully you can see a sharp dent in the crash barrier lol. Probably a Bollard or something :/
16v Bumper on.. Such a improvement

Re: My 6n Polo 1.3 8v
Another update.. Now have the Audi A3 Pepper Pot alloys on my Polo. Got 10mm 4x100 to 5x100 hub adapters.. Bigger offset alloys compared to the BBS RXII that im selling by the way and some BBS Solitubes both 15". So offset and adapters widened it about 17mm each side so no poke but it sits nicely and flush with the arches. might need to widen them got some serious scrub going on. Heres some pics
The Adapters going on
Yeah5x100
Done!!

Re: My 6n Polo 1.3 8v
That's looking awesome with the pepperpots on bud! Have you considered stretched tyres? They should help stop the scrubbing without having to roll the arches etc?
Nice progress though

Re: My 6n Polo 1.3 8v
Yeah i have but i got the wheels with brand new tyres on them. Dont wanna fork out another £200+ on new tyres and theyre only 6j alloys, id have hardly any tyre touching the road haha. Cheers for the comment Pal
Re: My 6n Polo 1.3 8v
Oh... yer no point then! HAHA! That's true, I always forget pepperpots aren't that wide! Are you on clubpolo.co.uk? If not, definitely check it out! I always feel this forum isn't very active anymore, hence the late commentSWDUBBER wrote:Yeah i have but i got the wheels with brand new tyres on them. Re: My 6n Polo 1.3 8v
Yeah.. Better getting them rolled if I ever want wider wheels or bigger spacers, will look a whole lot better then maybe a small stretch to top it off but im good for now ha.. Erm I've always been meaning to.. I'll do it soon see what them lot think of it.. Cheers again mate! You got a thread?? Let's see yoursVWking wrote:Oh... yer no point then! HAHA!
