Jack's Blue 6n2: vRS!

Post by JackClap »

Right, I've been watching the forums for the past few months and thought i'd join in myself.
I thought i would spend my summer wisely and spend my time working on a car ready for when i can drive in septemeber, still 16 right now :(
But heres the car as i bought it, a 3dr, 1L 6n2 :)

Image

The progress will be slow as im still in school, and moneys limited, but i will do as much as i possible can :)

Ive spent about 2 months doing things so far,

Things done:
New alloys
Full honeycomb grille set
Fog lights
Gti Spliter
stubby ariel
Gear knob and gaiter
Smoked side indicators
Number plate surronds
Debadged "polo"

I will upload some picture of what ive done so far later on in the week :)

Nice car mate and welcome to the forum :)

Its a great little car to begin driving with and you can make them look really cool with just a few simple styling modifications. Its never going to be anything quick but you sure can make them look good.

Check outs Greg Perkins build thread for some inspiration, he turned his 1.0L into a GTI lookalike.

Keep us all posted with your updates

Nope the plate holders are screwed on :)

and yes the foglights will fit your car, but you need several bits for it. you need, the foglights themselves, a new switch for them, the grills which they sit in, some bulbs, and some fixings :) and then they just plug straight in. i got my bits from ebay.

Veedubmachine for the fogs, switch and grills about £70.00 TPS for the screws and screw holders about £5.00 and any H7 Bulb.

she only needed a jump so it would of been a bit harsh to do that.

and im pretty sure you could use pads, it may require a few more pads then normal and some good strong ones, but im pretty sure it would hold it :)
