First car - 6n2 *Picture Heavy*

Post by James. »

This is all being pasted from another forum im on, so if parts make no sense... Then ignore it and look at the pictures

Polo 6n2 1.0 litre
Pretty much standard apart from the wheels and headunit.
So me and Dad picked it up beginning of October 2010, whilst it looked like this,

Then as i was pretty skint considering im only 16, I just went around finding little bits and bobs that i didnt like and set a task of changing.
1st was the horrific aerial, got a stumpy one off ebay for a couple quid,

After that i had to change the wheels. They werent in a very good state, especially the driver front. Corroded lip, and generally manky. So i picked up a set of standard steelies off another 6N2,

Had them sprayed white as i wasnt keen on them being black,

Got them fitted up,

Looking like a 4x4 ;)

Now whilst i was waiting for my Coilovers to be delivered, i had a random moment and sprayed the front badge matt black,

I liked it, so i stuck with it. And gave the engine bay a little clean aswell,

1.0 Power ;)

Then the coilies arrived, only cheap ones, but they do the job :)

Which made it look 10x better. Still needs a bit tweeking, Front needs dropping quite a bit more. Rears should be fine as im planning on dropping a big twin 12" sub into it very soon.

So this is how its looking at this very moment in time,

Like i said up there ^ Somewhere. I am still 16, 17 in february so the mods are very limited at the moment. And will probably be only little updates from now on, apart from the ICE install soonish. Got a few plans up my sleeve such as spacers all around, or maybe even some G60 steels as the 13's arn't as nice as i hoped

Thats all for now, any comments welcome :)

Cheers, James.

Small update :)
2 Headunits for christmas, cant complain :D

Thats it at the moment, ripped the helpers out yesterday and wound it down some more. Waiting for my gti splitter now and then i think i'll be finished

All comments welcome :)
