GTI Exhaust Diameter

Hi guys,

I know the GTI has the twin exhaust, but does anyone know the diameter of the individual pipes? Just wondering as I've found a genuine GTI exhaust tip for mega cheap and wondering if it will fit onto the exhaust of my Polo, 1.2 TSI which has a 65mm exhaust.

If it's cheap just buy it and I am sure you can get a sleeve for it to fit to your exhaust if it's a different diameter.

Can anyone kindly measure the diameter of a single exhaust pipe please? Or confirm that each pipe is 65mm in diameter?

The single pipe behind the twin tips is 52mm in external diameter....
