Just a quick one, anyone know what grade gearbox oil I need?
1.4 TDi 2005, ND55 VXN.
Rang GMF an they said refer to the manual, manual doesn't seem to mention it.
VW can only provide part number, not the grade.
What gearbox oil grade do I need? 1.4 TDi

its 75w synth for a manual gear box mate
if your doing a gear box oil change you will need 2ltrs
just in case you need to know how do it (no affence)
. top up until oil flows from the filler hole
. fit filler plug
. start engine
. select a gear and allow gearbox to turn for 2 mins
. check oil level and top up if necessary

Cheers mate, and thanks for the info! Done the 'box oil before though 
Just wanted to know if it was the same grade as my old car so I could use the same oil! Mine just needed topping up.
