Tree sap and bird crap

what a luvly combernation !
my cars parked under a tree that luvs leaking stick sap all over my car can't see out the windows sum times and the birds nest in the same tree and crap on my car.
can't move car no where else to keep it
has anybody got any ideas on how best to protect my cars paint ?

Wash, then use some Autoglym Bug and Tar remover...

Then Claybar

Then Compound

Then Glaze

Then Wax

Where can you get clay bars from in the UK?

And what do you use for lube (for the claybar! :wink:)?

wouldn't it help if u put some sort of sover over the top of ur car overnight etc while u leave it there :o

Ha ha ha, I was going to suggest the same thing, I've seen some in the Poundland shop (not that I go there...but they do have cheap batteries!) for a pound which almost makes them disposable!

Give it a good going over following Josh's instruction and then cover up...will make people wonder what you have under there too...could it be a Porsche? a Ferrari? or even better a VW? ha ha ha!

You spray a mixture of water and car shampoo onto the car before using the clay bar making sure the surface is wet before going over it, works wonders!

sorry to be dense but whats clay bar ?
the cover idea is a great 1 does anyone know where i might get such a cover ? and can i get get 1 for a brand new polo 2 as my mum has 1, its ok to drive but i perfer mine lol.
