Pioneer deh-p7600mp

Post by M@Turner »

Recieved my pioneer deh-p7600mp on Tuesday at fitted it that very night. Before i had a pioneer casette head unit, which was ok but the display screen had been dropped and unable to see the display. :(

I had to do a little bit of rewiring, but the end result is quite impressive IMO. The sound quality is ace and the features are very cool. :D

If any of you are looking for a new headunit i would highly recommend this one. I paid less than half the retail price aswell for it, as i bought it from a company in the USA.

It certainly is mp3. I am now in the process of making myself the ultimate MP3 CD.

Recommendations for classic and future classic songs would be appreciated. :)

Mos Def - Speed Law

so far that has been my ultimate driving tune. however I bought that 60s Soul album from HMV on saturday which I've been rocking to ever since.

What sort of music are you into? I can provide a vast number of tunes from my sound off CD for your browsing.

The site i got it from was www.hookedontronics.com. I found there site through ebay.

As for workin over here in the UK, everything seems fine. I dont think that the radio can be as fine tuned as UK spec ones, but i can get all the main stations with quite good quality. Im not much of a radio listener anyway.

In case your wondereing how much it cost. It was £163 approx including shipping. I saw it for £360 at my local Halfords.

KarlM. I enjoy listening to a wide variety of music, but my favourite is R&B, Hip Hop and Rap.

Go for some DJ Format. Some of the old Funk Flex albums as well if you can find them (The HMVs in Meadowhall and on Fargate are good for old stuff).

To be honest, i didn't even think about warrenty. You have me a little worried.

Thinking about it though, i haven't heard of anybody having to take there headunit back under warrenty, plus the headunit only cost me half of what it would over here.

Fingers crossed it should be fine for many years. :)

Usually Pioneer will last a long time, Certainley long enough for you to get your moneys worth. (Thats speaking from my experiance)

You did bag yourself a bargain, Mines is the model below yours and i paid £300 for it a year ago.
