just had a forge Diverter Valve fitted on Saturday....i know its not supposed to make alot of noise but thought it would sound better than the standard one ... dont get me wrong it boosts faster and is more responsive
some one told me to get more noise I would need a cone filter but could not say which one to get
ye I was wondering where it would fit .. I am thinking of getting a K&N n enclosing it in a air box .... could do with some advice if you have one n how urs is set up
I said at the start I wasn't going to f*ck around with cone filters but the idea has been in my head all day
iv alreddy been warned bout pre-oiled filters but thanks for lookin out pal
I don't actually run a cone on mine, I just run a seat PD160 intake with a BMC panel filter.
Theres not actually a huge difference in performance between them either. I just decided to keep the engine bay looking clean and standard and the fact that my forge 007P doesn't make much noise doesn't bother me.
There are alot of guys on here running the cones, I'm sure they will be able to hook you up with some info.
Been contemplating getting this for a long while as i want to keep the air box but not sure as i will be doing my hybrid upgrade before the end of the year hopefully and will need to use a 3" maf.
Good thing is the diameter of the cone is 3" so I can remove the top section of the air box and make up some bespoke piping and still use this.
