VCDS shows 1 Fault Found:
16486 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too Low
P0102 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: 0000 0000

what do ya think guys new sensor required? or do u think somthing is causing reading to be low? leaky pipe etc? :S
2 Faults Found:

00925 - Fuse (30) for Interior Lamps (S261)
37-00 - Faulty Fuse 30 is ok and isnt a fuse for interior lamps :shock:

Also 00778 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85)
008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00101000
Fault Priority: 2
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 121
Mileage: 49166 km
Time Indication: 0 I have a momo which i think is 1 or 2 serations out from straight if i fix this do u think it will solve this fault?

..............and finally

18265 - Load Signal: Error Message from ECU
P1857 - 000 - - - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00100000
Fault Priority: 2
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 115
Mileage: 49139 km
Time Indication: 0

Sounds like dirty MAF. Are you running an oiled cone filter on it?

Cheers josh for the quick reply :) yes i am. Not been oiled in a while mind u.I thought that unless ive just not cleaned it good enough or need a new 1. Anyone experienced any of the other things?

Is this a constant fault or a single fault that went away?

Sounds simple but have you tried clearing the faults and seeing if they come up again when you rescan? I had 4 intermittents when I got my car, cleared them and they've never returned. In a similar fashion, my tyre warning system went haywire once while on the motorway. Started beeping like mad but the tyres were all fine. Reset the system and cleared the fault from VCDS and the problem's never come back. Sometimes the car's just having a bad day and needs to let off steam lol

Have you tried cleaning the throttle body and having it reset?

Nope tryd cleanin the maf sensor but randum screws like a torx but with an upstand in the middle anyone know what the key is called for this?

They are called Security Torx.

Can u buy a set in likes of b&q etc? Or is it a verve tool?

Load signal problem, have you checked the load signal wiring, if this is starting to break, then it might just be the cause of the indicated steering problem (alternator o/p lowish > battery now not fully charged) - just a thought!

Is that a T20 serurity key? looks like it but doesnt fit T20 dosnt fit asif the centre holes too small n a T25s too big :S
