cupholder question

ok i know they are crap, but when the cupholder is open is the right side furthest away from the dash tang meant to be spring loaded? the other three seem to be. thanks

Yes it is

It will have some form of sticky drink stopping it from springing open, mine is like this at the moment but never used to be
