A friend of mine is considering a D plate GTi 16v, is there anything he should be looking out for? The car in questions done about 110k and it quotes it as being in fair condition.

Its up at Â£175, like I said fair condition.

crunchy 2nd, does it pop out of 5th under load. check the MFA works (the little computer thing, press the button on the wiper stalk). Check the sunroof works, then its the usual really. I don't really know too much bout 16v's I know 8's better

anything people on there don't know about Golf GTIs isn't worth knowing.
