Hi,
My girlfriend has a 9n2 (completely standard till I get my hands on it) but the cigarette lighter in the dash has completely stopped working and is no idea why she said a penny got stuck in it and now it doesn't work. Any one got any ideas ?. Also how do I take it out ?.
Thanks
JB

Tried that and unless I'm looking at the wrong fuse then it's not that... Any other ideas ?.

Re: Cigarette lighter
Maybe the penny is blocking/has bent a connection or something? Hopefully a nice easy fix.
To remove it, you need to first remove the handbrake surround - it pulls off upwards. Then there's two Torx screws (T25 I think) behind the rubber mat in the storage area in front of the gear lever. Lift the gear surround up, unclip the gear gaitor and pass it through the hole and unplug the cigarette lighter.

Ahhh thanks a million dude, il take it out and have a look tonight, yeah I mean the penny's out now all I can think is if it knocked something out some wiring or bent something. Bit of a silly thing to have happen really.
But thanks if I do fix it il repost incase anyone had the same problem.
