Why strip a new car? Good work though but rather do 1/4 mile stock interior

Yep, get down as fast as you can

Seriously though, firstly all I'd do with the GTI is press and go, ensuring less than half a tank of fuel and lower tyre pressure at the front. I'd have the car in sport for the first run with traction control on, then I'd be trying the same with traction control off and metering the fast pedal on launch in case of tyre spin, then once i'd got that right I'd be swapping to manual mode with traction off and seeing if short shifting from first to second makes a difference. All the time keeping an eye on the times. Eventually you'll hit on a combination that suits you best and gives you the fastest time. 8)

Cool stuff, looking forward to this. Gonna do a few 1/4 mile runs in mine as soon as I find a suitable event, so it'll be interesting to compare with your modded car.

Looks like theyve done a good job fitting it. Can you tell a noticeable difference in acceleration after changing that house brick off a battery lol :)
