Got two cruise control kits- want one fitted?

Post by MODDED9N »

Done a few of these to guys on the forum, got two left, anyone want one doing? Take between 2-3 hours which ever way you go. I know K.I.T.T said he could do it in 1-1.5hrs but I think he must be a superhuman :P. Will fit the kit for £145... Need them gone really because I have no use for them! Will consider p/x if you have something I desire and if you have something I want which is more than the 145, you will get the kit fitted for free as well as cash your way! Things I am looking for are things like a gti roof spoiler, lowering springs/coilovers, 312mm front brakes, 256mm rear brakes and an FMIC... Also so TT or R32 pedals would be nice! Feel free to message me... Will reply very quickly so don't worry about waiting for a reply! Thanks

Would this kit work on an 05 plate 9n 1.2?

Cheers,

How do you do it? do you plug that one of the wires to that white T11a plug or tap into the ECU loom? I managed to do fit it to a Fabia in no time, but the wiring's slightly different and it's easier to take apart. That stupid T11a plug is doing my head in - will have to have another go at getting to it.

I reckon the fabia might be easier than the polo to access the white plug because it is a little bugger to reach with your arm as it sits so far up behind the steering wheel! I basically have to take the steering wheel, dash trim pieces the fuse box, etc out to reach the white plug! Once thats all sorted its all downhill! It is a bugger though! What a fantastic mod eh? :P

I didn't take my steering wheel off, maybe that improves access. I was just seeing how hard it is to get to.

I removed the relay plate cover, headlight switch, under dash trim and CCM. Lowered the relay plate as far as I could, but the wiring loom to the fusebox was in the way, and due to some reason I could "remove" (ie push into dash and let it hang on its loom) the fusebox. There seems to be an obstruction. I could see the plug, but it looked like a fecker to get to.

I'll try again when the sun's out (and my fingers heal). No pain no gain eh?

It's a cracking mod though.

Ash :)
