A lot of plans changed since i last posted. My car failed MOT, HIDs, rubbing, track rod ends, tyres. the red list was 2 pages, mainly lowering related issues. This really demoralized me and made me make the hasty decision to sell all my mods and just run the car as standard (ish). Also to fund the MOT fixings and the now due TAX.

I sold my 165/50/15 tyres. sold my HID kit and went back to halogens. my wheels are currently for sale and my front and rear disk brake upgrades are also for sale.

ive done all the mot work, re fitted the standard suspension, new track rod ends ans steering arms. new front tyres the 2 fronts had worn from being new to the cords in just 3 weeks with the coilovers on, showing how you badly need tracking done instantly after you lower it!!! re fitting the coilovers on the weekend, getting it tracked and aligned the same day, and have spacers to move the tyres out from the struts a bit, all nice and legal then.

All this faffing made my stick with selling my OZ 15s, im now going down a different wheel route, ordered a tyre last night so i can test fit one of the new wheels. should look pretty sick when it all comes together.

also fitted 6n2 clear side repeaters, and a new(ish) bonnet as mine had seperated from its frame.

Also started a diet, 2 weeks in and still going strong hehe

fitted a standard 6n2 vynil steering wheel, the leather 6n2 gti one has gone to a better more deserving home.

Sold my OZ, and had these of a good mate of mine

BBS RS772 aka RXii. got them home sunday, excellent condition, but i want the centers a different colour so i got about splitting them, only managing to nacker 1 bolt, all the rest put up a fight but came out intact. Ordered me a set of 185/45/15s also.

centers are with my brother being stripped, repaired a small curb mark on one of the rims, going to mop the lips and get the centers painted my shade by the weekend.















i finaly got a DKF gearbox today. better ratios than my DXD, so its going to be even more economical, and a lot more motorway friendly.

still looking for wheel spacers though, 4x100 centric ones 15-20mm. id take a set of 5x100 ones if they were cheap and redrill them

operation STOP, DROP, ECONOMISE started today, changed the gearbox after fitting a new selector shaft seal in the replacement box. re-fitted the front coilovers, changed the front hubs so im now rolling on 256s, no brake upgrade would be fully scene without changing the standard master cylinder to a nice 22mm jobbie. got to knock up 2 brake lines tomorow to accomodate the bigger MC fittings. bleed the brakes and fit the rear coilovers. banged some 165/60/14s on the bottle tops i bought last week, as my 13" steels wont fit over the brakes. my BBS centers are ready for paint, so will rebuild these in the week.

after finishing up the bleeding earlier, i set about giving the car its second wash since january

MrMuscle oven cleaner, wait 15mins and scrub with a hard bristle alloy brush then rinse.

then after a wash i also got around to sorting the pink bonnet out



nipped to tesco to get some RON and then took a few pics at focus carpark as its now deserted due to them going boobs










Brakes are sharp as flip now. and the gearbox, well, amazing, just what the doctor ordered, im allready saving money, check it 60mph is now only 2.5k rpm, last week it was 3.5k, i poop you not!!! ££££££££££
