A list of questions from a noob! (sorry)

Hi,

I've just bought a 6n2 as a runabout whilst my Mk2 Golf is off the road. There are a few things I'd like to ask please (I've checked the "How To" section).

How do I remove the speedo/rev counter bezels?

How does the petrol flap come off (mine was fitted by David Blunkett by the look of it)?

How does the centre vent panel come out so I can replace the hazard switch and possibly spray the panel?

My digital clock has no illumination, should it have?

Oh, and my passenger front window works using "one touch" but my driver's side doesn't. I tried the "hold it down for 10 secs" fix but it didn't work. I've also noticed that if I press the driver's window switch it turns the instrument cluster lights on!?
