Hey Bart,
It depends on what sort of sound you're after;
Focal is more Sound Quality oriented (not as much punch and bass, but very good highs and clarity/staging) - get the upmarket ones
Boston is more American, i.e. more punch, bit sharper sound (I have the Pro series, pretty good even though they need a better installation/location)
RF; ditto- I'd only consider the upmost series here
CD technologies: the ultimate SQ winner composet (at least, in the Dutch scene)
Lots of choice... Any specific goal for your install?

it's a long story.. If your interested
Well, I have a DLS composet (B5), 6x9's from focal, a lanzar vibe 421 amplifier and a Caliber sub inthe trunk. I want to get rid of the caliber sub in the trunk, because I have mad plans with my polo and I need the room in my trunk.. I just acctually wanted to trow out the sub, the 6x9's and just replacde all of that with a good composet + my lanzar vibe 421(4channel). But I want my sound to at least as complete as it was with the orignial 4 speakers I had once.. The bass was sufficient and didn't sound as sharp as the DLS comoset I have now,...
Btw: I always listen to punkrock, and I don't like for the sound to be off ("schel" in dutch). Maybe I should just save myself the investment and put the original speakers back in..
I just want a complete sound, you know what I mean..

Hmm. Punk rock has lots of highs and mids (mid bass) so you may get away with removing the sub, while keeping a decent SQ level.
The goal then would be to have very good (mid)bass speakers in the doors, and have a very dead door. So, essentially I could see your system have 4 channels, with two of them running the tweeters (filtered) and the other two running the small woofers in the doors.
Image would be somewhat off, but you'd still use all four of the channels the amp has.
Key element here is the dead door. It needs to be *solid*. Including the door card, and anything that has any surface, or may rattle needs to be sound deadened (or whatever it's called).
Now all you'd need is a composet (or a set of tweeters and a set of 16cm -I think- woofers) and some Dynamat.
Can anyone suggest a good quality composet? I'd suggest Boston (it's what I have) but it'll be too harsh (schel) for your music. The Focals may be too jazzy/restrained.
