NEWBIE - ADVICE AND HELP.

Hi all, just wondering a few things. i have just got a 1.4 6n 3 dr s reg. few rust spots and in need of some tlc.
servicing tomorrow and hopefully sorting out a few bits.

Now for the big question, will a 1.6 gti engine fit straight in, and as i have no knowledge do i need new ecu? and re-programmed immobiliser?
Also would i need new struts and hubs?

any help would be great!

In the wrong section buddy 6n is a mkiv also with no knowledge id imagine things like that are best left? I'd say I think off the top of my head you'd need a new ECU at the very least and then uprated brakes and for the price just save up and buy a nice gti. It'll never look the same with a 6n

Thanks for the advice, been reading a few forums and the 1.4 16v engine seems a good swap. might give that a go.
