Picking new car up tomorrow!

Hey guys,

I am on my first VW, and have been bitten by the bug as my brother has always had VW's. After a 4.5month wait for a factory build, i am due to pick up my '61' plate Polo Match in White, with Navarre (SEL) alloys tomorrow morning!

I am really looking forward to it, i love the look of the new polos and the quality of the car, especially the interior is unreal compared to the competition in my opinion anyway!

Anyways just wanted to say hi and would love to hear peoples first impressions after the first day of ownership

I got a polo match in white like 2 months ago now as soon as i passed my driving test, its a beaut! The only bad thing i can say about it is that there is barely any nice modifications for it to make it look that bit sportier ah well, its brilliant

The only really tastefull stuff ive seen is the front/rear splitter, skirts and roof spoiler that they have in the accessory book....but looking at the prices its going to cost best part of £1200-£1500 so quite dear to get them, painted and fitted etc.

Yeah their prices are crazy and i dont like the rear bumper anyways. Liking the styling on the Polo R WRC car, would love one of them carbon fibre spoliers :L

Also have a polo match in white! Great lil car! The only things which I want are.it lowered, the back suspension sits way to high. And a new rear skirt just want something a lil more sporty looking.

Me and you have the same ideas strachs! I'm thinking of H&R 25/40 lowering springs and I want the polo gti rear bumper wouldn't mind getting the roof and mirrors vinyl wrapped black or painted just

If you have a look at mainland europe there are heaps of parts already available, body kits, tunes, wheels, suspension etc.
