Black VW Front grill badge with red inserts??

I was thinking bout painting the insides of my front VW badge red. Iv seen pics on another forum and I think it looks good but not sure??
What do you guys think.

looks great, would look nice with gti grill.especially with with the red piping.

I don't like it personally. Doesn't look OEM at all, way to ruin the front of a very nice looking car in my opinion :)

I know what you mean, I might keep the badge silver and paint the sides red so its not to in ya face.
Iv got a spare VW Badge incase I f**k it up lol

Am doing mine green. But a dunno wether to do the full badge or just this. A might try the full badge first then of I don't like it just paint over the green with black.

How do u remove the badge fully thou x

Think you might have to take the front grill off, then twist the badge. I havnt done it myself like but was on another thread.

Yeah take your grill of i didnt on mine i just turned to the left and pulled abit and snapped a clip that was holding it in :(

and if your carefull dont need to take grill out just twist badge and should come out

bought mine like that but it was just split in half and painted then glued could have done it my self

cant remember m8 and if you take the badge out and look on the back you can see where to split it
