Centre arm rest and best headlight bulbs!

Post by Cossie boy »

Hi guys!

Just joined this site, couldnt see a new members bit so posting here!

Recently bought myself a 57 plate Polo Sport 1.9 TDi 100 5 door, doesnt seem many about I must say!

Having previously owned Golf, Bora and A3, I am thinking of getting one of these arm rests :-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-POLO-9N-N2 ... 1e5e5f453a

anyone got one or know anyone who has?!

Also I have a headlight bulb gone, so might as well upgrade to something better, any suggestions? a Xenon style would be good!

Cool and site and...hello :D

Cheers

hello and welcome!
HID works a treat, but make sure they are for reflector headlamp.
as for the armrest, it feels quite sturdy mine. i cant imagine that space being empty anymore!

I suggest PIAA bulbs, have them myself.

Only bulb with actual xenon inside, made for standard reflector, and just plug and play, no HID.

Looks good, and you get a lot of light^^

They are expensive because they are quality, compared to a lot of other "xenon look" bulbs @ Ebay.. These actually contain Xenon, and they are the only bulbs in the world that does, and are plug-and-play halogen setup.

Can anyone who has the arm rest (linked to in the first post) confirm whether the plastic is grey or black? Not to fussed about the fabric, but black plastic would stick out like a sore thumb - my dash (and trim around the handbrake) is grey.

Ash :)

Could you show me some pics of this arond the base so i can see how this fits around the plastics.

I assume there will be modding to do but i like the sound of original parts and really want this :-)
