Re: How Low can i go?
alot of guys have 205/40 tyres
you won't rub with these springs...but isn't a GTI already 15mm lower than other 9n3's?
if so, when you put these Eibach's you won't even notice the difference

Eibach coilovers or Bilstein ones... Don't go for springs... I got eibach ones on Mine, as good comfort wise as standard suspension! Bilstein ones are apparently sick too.. There is a set for sale on the forum !
Re: How Low can i go?
f**k coilovers there s**t man i have seen cars shake on them the ones your talking about are £700 to £800 that a joke i can get whole suspension for that price fitted and few other bits and pieces for my polo

Anything else?

Millions of people run coilover with no issues. It depends how low you run them.
The people who have problems with coilovers are those who run then too low.
As with prices, as far as coilovers go you only get what you pay for. Personally I would never run anything else than, KW, Eibach or Bilstien.
You see alot of people running AP coilovers which for the price people seem to rave about so these may be worth a look.

The only people I see have problems are people who take helper springs out and run them so low they can't fit their key underneath
