Nice little Upgrade that Verity, something I always wanted to do to mine but not got round to it

Bit silly considering I replaced both indicator clusters

Gotta agree with Bradley, I think that compliments a silver car brilliantly. :)

Cheer for your comments guys! As always very much appreciated :D
Very happy with how fresh the car is starting to look now, cant wait to detail it once winter passes

Popped into VW today with a long list of parts I want, which I left Shaun on parts to price up for me.-- haha he must hate me!
Once he's finished pricing everything, Ill work out what I can get, and what I-really-can't-afford-that-V-seriously-control-yourself-and-wait-until-you-have-silly-amounts-of-money-to-spend-on-random-gadgets-and-bits.
I'm hoping tho I can get the whole list, including a present or two for Bekkis GTI ;)

18.11.2011 - New Indicator Lights

So after I dropped my long list of bits off at VW, a few bits arrived yesterday.
Which included my new Indicators.
As some of you may remember; last year I brought brand new Headlights for Gerti. Next to those my 10 year old indicators looked shocking!!
A massive stone chip in the passenger side one, and lots of dirt, and I think mould has wiggled its way around the edges of the lights.

Image

I also wanted to get some new foggies, as they are majorly stone chipped. but they were something like £67 each  (not including VAT, or Jacks discount)
a bit toooo much for me right now...so ill live with the stone chips

I need to buy some More paint protective film at the end of the month (pay day) as it's really worked well at protecting my headlights.
whilst at it, I'll re-cover the headlights as well, as the film on atm has got a bit grubby around the edges.

Was hoping to get my clutch and tyres done this weekend, Jack was going to take it into VW and do it in the morning whilst theyre open, but we have to go to a breakfast meet at Revo instead. But I'm still hoping to get a few things done. such as the door catch and rubbers, got a few engine stickers and stuff which wont take long to do ;) so hopefully Ill be adding more updates over the weekend :D

The weekend didn't quite go to plan, went to the breakfast meeting at Revo on Saturday - a Ford meet! Really not my cup of tea! But we went to see the Revo chaps, and Jacks mate Tim who got Revo in contact with Jack.
Spent most of my time there chatting to the  chap from Fast Ford Magazine tho, which was cool.
The rest of the weekend was spent playing COD or cleaning the Golf and playing with it foggies

Decided Sunday Night to take the Polo for a little drive and compile a list of things to do over the week.
Managed to find more things wrong with him :/

• Number Plate light falling out - a little clip has broke  so it hangs out. A new one is now on order
• Washer Jet blocked Flushed Hot water through, now unblocked
• Passenger Side Window Squeaks

21.11.2011 - Stickers

It's raining heavily here, so I still cant get much done
Taken the Drivers side door card off, along with the door card clips, ready to replace all the clips and foam, as well as the door stopper.

Did manage to change my Engine Bay Stickers

New indicators look cool Verity :)

I changed both on mine too but at separate times, you will notice the new ones don’t stay looking good for long though.
It’s the buildup of condensation that causes the edges to go moldy and look dirty which is pretty much unavoidable

They will look new for a while though :)
