Indicator lights are £27.77 each (plus VAT) but I got them for £19.55

Headlight were £199.45 (plus VAT) but got them for £147.00 (plus VAT)
So about £350 in total fr the headlights for me. Which considering you see people on eBay trying to sell 2nd hand ones for the same amount/more, doesn't seem to bad I guess lol
Tht whole MOT cost me about £700 tho, blurgh!

Both headlights at £350 so what was the other £350 for on the MOT? That's not nice :-(

We all know you get discount so don't rub it in :-p lol

I'm looking £400+ then for new lights and indicators... Hmm best get saving.

Hahahah sorry! It's just so the following doesn't happen:
"it costs X amount" then someone says "your a nutter! You could get that for Y amount from so and so" then I have to go, "well actually I did get it for Y amount from VW"
--if that makes any sense at all!! Haha

Yeah had to get loads done in preparation for the mot, then it failed on a couple of things, so more work required b*stard. Leat he made it thru this years MOT fine....even if he is now having loads of work done!

Good luck with the saving ;D I'd say it's worth the money, I love my lights!! :D....even if they did cost more thn my first car (£300 6n polo lol)

All makes perfect sense verity :-)

Like you said least it got thru this year and once any work is finished it'll be good for a while :-)

I'm not desperate for the lights just yet I'll probably get them after my new bumper and had paintwork freshened up :-)

Arrghh  Just had Polos wing mirror knocked
Was going down a road which has a large number of cars that park on the one side. had just given way to a load of cars (even tho it was my right of way), at the top of the road, then at the bottom of the road was a car coming up, he should have pulled over to give way, as no doubt he could see me coming, and known he wouldnt have made it, but he went anyway. He passed about 2 cars, then a space which he could have pulled over in- he didn't :x I could tell we weren't going to both fit, And we didn't.
Ended up reversing up the road after him.
It's fair to say I was fuming. Im normally very rashional and calm, but I completely saw red, and yelled. Alot.
I feel odd now, its not like me to yell, as it gets you no where, but I guess you have to vent your anger some where, why not at the f*cker who caused the agro.
The case seems ok, will hopefully polish up, but will have to inspect it tomoro morning in the light for any cracks, but the glass is fooked. Got his details and he shall be paying for it.

Same :( Malverners are really bad for it. They don't give way when they should, and give way when there's a gap large enough to fit a bus sideways thru! They all seem to have such bad judgement/ don't think/ are asleep at the wheel

Your probably right Mandy! I really don't think he would have done!!

When jack first got the car an old man clip the car smashing the wing mirror case to pieces, he just drove straight off...probably didnt even hear the bang tbf. I brought him the new case...which makes tonight even more annoying. As it was in perfect condition only being 3 years old, now even after its been polished up I'm sure there will be some sort of spider web effect on it :x
Arrrghhhh

To true!! That's what made me yell at him lol
He said I was going to fast and he didn't have time to pull over. I think my reply was something along the lines of 'what are you on?! You should have given way when you saw me, it's my right of way'
He tried to tell me I was going to fast and that he thought he'd make it. I pointed out that there was a space he could have pulled into, but didnt, and that i had already started coming past the parked cars and it was obvious he wouldnt have been able to make it past them, and that i had just given way to a load of cars and had only just got to speed, whilst he had raced up the road.
