TMC now works. Turns out I just live in the sticks and not much happens round here. Went to Edinburgh today and it brought up a few things!

Bluetooth streaming is sill an issue...

Gonna have to have a look at VCDS later on and see what the problem is. What phone do you use? I'm using an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1

Do you have the climate controls or the manual controls?

I managed to fit the blueooth unit behind my climate controls with a bit of a squeeze. I don't know if i followed the guides correctly as I actually managed to remove the audio cage (Don't know if it was supposed to be removed or just moved enough to get the vents out)

I was wondering which version of the rns 510 u got? I was reading a bit of info online and some ppl have reported the unit draining the battery life... Just wondering if u have had any issues.... Im going to do same upgrade soon thanks!

The RNS 510 is version C (LED), if your fitting it to a new Polo I dont think there should be any battery drain issues. The battery issues are associated with the older VW's.

Nothing planned yet, but you never know

I have the RNS 510 C version in my Moda & when I checked my car the other day with a diagnostic machine, it mentioned to much power getting used from the CD system... Draining issue, my battery has never died but if I had it on with the engine off, it wouldnt take long for it to die.

Bought a private plate today

Not really done anything with my Polo since getting it except adding oil.

But did order some interior LED's yesterday. Should get them fitted tomorrow!
