Do a PROPER detail. If you got a warm garage to do it in that is..

Aye maybe so mate but i have an old run about for the winter its not very practical for carrying a snowboard either so i'll do what i did last year and take her off for a while al give her a proper run in when she's roaded again i wont go daft! Looks standard few tweaks here and there, remap hid's forge 007p d valve panel filter etc. I'll get pics up in the new year mate more looking for stance next coilies get the wheels refurbed and im seeking to buy a miltek, do you recommend one? As for Joz i dont have a warm garage but a simple walk to a mates house would get me a space heater for a while ;) Whats your idea of a proper detail then? She' white so if you have any incling of the products to buy that would be a boost?

By proper detail I mean clean EVERYTHING, clay it, polish it and lay on some HQ wax :)

There shall be no dirt left!!

As for the products I would recommend;
Autoglym HD Wax (http://www.highdefinitionwax.com/high_d ... on_wax.asp)
--- -- --- paint rinser
--- -- --- Polish
Clay bars
Tire wet spray
Get a load of microfiber cloths ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-Deluxe-Micro ... 3cbed7aacf )
Rain off ( Polish for the windows to make water come off more easy)

And all the other "basic" stuff.

If you want some info on how to do it step by step, I've got some nice guides. PM if ur keen.

Also, would recommend a Milltek catback. :)

Your a wise man putting your car away for winter up there! Not sure what the relevance of the milltek is but I would recommend a full TURBO back milltek. Much better sound ;)

Would love a bigger turbo bud! Aye the snow hasn't fell yet its not far away though 2 degrees so the thermo is reading in the GTI!! Full turbo back milltek sounds like a plan mate the £700 quid doesna on the other hand.

Blueflame get good discounts if you give Lloyd a call.. Think that's who I spoke to

£600 the bloke quoted me for full turbo system with decat.. Plus that was 3"

Anyways I'm getting a custom one done with longlife for £500 2.5" tho

Full custom exhaust ftw :)
