PLEASE HELP - HANDBRAKE BEEPING

Hi,

I have a new problem with my car. Previously the site has been a great help and if someone can advice for this annoying thing, i will be grateful.

Basically my car randomly shows the handbrake light on the dashboard and starts beeping.

I had this problem ages ago like 1 year but then it just went. I didnt do anything last time as it only came twice.

This time its back again but its coming often like in a single day.

My car was last fully serviced about 9 months ago and had the brake disc and pads replaced. It has been driving very well without any problems at all.

Also the last few days it has been really cold outside so would that be a reason??

I just dont want to spend a lot of money to fix this as i know the garage might say its a big problem.

Please if anyone can advice me, ill be really grateful.

Mine doesn't beep but why light was on constantly. This was last year christmas, happened for like a week and that was it. Wonder if it will happen again this Christmas lol
