just updated my member's ride post. got the badgeless grill and eyebrow on, and finally got my wing sprayed up (plus a couple of parking dents).

very happy!

Thats a very nice MK4, apart from Speedy's my new favourite. Polos always look better with subtle mods 8)

I'm liking SD_polow's motor at the mo - those ronals are sweet. Hence why I also like speedlaw's too! (and 4 paws).. and ... and ....

think the next mod is silvatek bulbs :)

Cheers David

The only problem with those wheels is they weren't mine to keep. I absolutely loved em too. I couldnt bear parting with em once they were on the car!!

And when the cars clean !! daily drives dont stay too clean too long unfortunately.

Most mods are on the outside...no engine work as yet!!!!

The pic with those ronals...well....they're the original ronal turbos..with no writing on em....absolutely rare as rockin horse 5h!t they are !!

cheers for the positive feedback guys!

yeah very pleased

had a bad boy on my old golf which wasn't welded and liked the look, so decided to go for this one. Not as nice as the golf's one - this one's quite flimsy and slighly curved over the eyes - the golf's was straight and meaner.

however, it improves it no end, and the badgeless grill, eyebrow plus spray only cost 110 (I was gettin the wing done at the same time).

so plenty of bang for your buck!

haven't figured out an easy way of popping the bonnet yet - I look like a right plonker trying to squeeze my fat fingers under the lip to release it! I can put up with that though!
