Polo Dune Alloys!

Post by Si_GTi »

Everyone seen the pics and specs of the new Polo Dune? Good good. More importantly have you seen the shiny new 17" alloys (thanks auto express) its sitting on?? 8)

Ooh sir. Suits you sir! Forgive my enthusiasm  but heres the thing: is it possible to fit these gorgeous (imo) wheels to a Mk5? Specifically my Mk5 GTi?

Any advice..? Cheers...

EDIT: btw yup I know that my Mk5 has a 4x100 pcd with ET35 offset and these are 5-stud 9n alloys... but can it be done with spacers/hub conversion etc?

Maybe the spacers that aat offer that would accomodate porsche alloys would do the trick. I know they convert 4 x 100 to 5 x I think 135. Hope thats of some help.

Karl.

I looked breifly in to the possiblities of 4 to 5 adapters for 100 stud spacing but 1 if not 2 of the holes would overlap which would make the adapter week and wouldn't really be worth doing to be honest. If you find another way of being able to do this let me know.

Thanks guys. As per usual it sounds like (expensive!) trouble :(

I'll just have to wait for the 9n GTi  rumours of the ever-popular 1.8T engine under the bonnet as well as the choice of the 2.0 TDi... lovely :D

The aftermarket BBS RW wheel (identical?) is available in 15"

and in 4 stud (4x100).

The two-piece BBS RW II is available in 17 and 18 inch:

but not in 4x100...
