Alarm on 9N...

Hi,
does any1 know somethink anot the std alarm monted on Polo 9N?
What's the brand (GT or...)? I know that is possible to configure some features on it like the opening door option ecc.... Has Any1 the installing manual or other info/stuff?

hello and welcome to the forum!
a few weeks ago i had some features on the alarm enabled, like single beep on arm and double beep on disarm, auto-lock when the car reaches 20km/h and open driver side lock when the key is removed from the ignition. i also want to change the alarm sound because it's standard on all vw (i think) and there are lots of vw around my block!

you have to take it to your dealer for these, it only takes a few minutes.

Have you got the listo of alarm features?
The changes can be done by my self too or it's necessary some instruments or other stuff?

In my old GT Alarm there was some dip-switch to configure the features foe example....

as far as i know, the main features are those i have enabled. you need a device called VAG-COM if you need to do it yourself i think. it's easier if you go to your dealer, you can ask them what other stuff they can do with your alarm.

Hi all!!!
I was to my dealer and he told me that is not possible to activate beeper and other stuff because I've got the siemplest VW "alarm"!!!
He told me that if I want that features I must install a supplementar module GT AutoAlram...

Is it right???

I've VW Polo 1.9TDi 3p 2004.....
